The Boy and The Bindi

This book is about a young Hindu boy who notices his Ammi (Mother in Hindi) wearing a bindi. The story follows the boy as his mother explains what a bindi is, why she wears it, and finally gives him one of his own. The later half of the book focuses on the boy’s experience wearing a bindi for the first time.
